Admission Criteria

Currently there are approximately 330 places at Hujjat Saturday Workshop(HSW).

These restrictions are in place solely for health and safety reasons and to ensure we are able to provide the best possible care and attention to all students at HSW.

Oversubscription

In the event of there being more applicants than the number of places available in a given class, priority will be given to those who have one or more SIBLING already attending. We only intend to take in new students at the start of the academic year (September) as we find that intakes during the year are disruptive and may place the new child at a disadvantage to fellow students.

Absences

If a student is absent for 3 or more consecutive weeks without prior notice or a valid reason provided to the Admin office, or attendance falls below 60% in any one term, they will be taken off the register and will need to re-apply for a place at the start of the next academic year should they wish to return. However, a place may not be guaranteed. If, at any point over the year, you wish to take your child out of HSW please notify the office as soon as possible so that your child’s place can be filled in our next intake. If a student has challenging needs that disrupt the learning of others, we will require his/her parents to assist the teachers or we will have to review the student’s place at HSW.

Fees

The current fees for HSW are: £60 per annum per student (£20 per term).
Fees are NON-REFUNDABLE.
If you have 3 or more children, the fees are capped at £150 per annum however; this ONLY applies if you pay the full amount at the start of the academic year.
N.B. To be eligible for the £150 fee cap, the children must be siblings. I.e. the cap does not apply to children who are cousins or have any other non-sibling relationship.

We would like to kindly remind you that the provision of books and resources for students is funded by the fees that we receive. These materials and learning aids cannot be provided without funding therefore please try to pay your child’s fees either in full at the start of the year or in termly instalments at the start of each term. If, for any reason, you are unable to pay part of or the full amount, please feel free to speak to a member of the admin team.
